Yellowstone is a sweet, yellow main-crop carrot with superb flavour.
The long smooth, tapered roots hold their colour when cooked, are easy to grow and have a succulent, crunchy texture. 
Good carrot fly tolerance. 
 
Sow outdoors from April - July at a depth of 1cm in drills 30cm apart.
 
Carrots are slow to germinate (7 - 21 days) and often germinate unevenly over a period of several weeks. To help germination, water lightly daily if soil is dry.
