Oxhella is an oxheart carrot variety growing up to 16cm in length. Its broad shape and short length make it the perfect choice for swallow/ heavy soil.
 
 
 
Sow outdoors from May - August at a depth of 1 cm (½ in) in drills 30 cm (12 in) apart.
 
Carrots are slow to germinate (7 - 21 days) and often germinate unevenly over a period of several weeks. To help germination, water lightly daily if soil is dry.
